Provide entry level counseling at the non certified level. Receives close
supervision from an A/D Professional Counselor Supervisor.
Provides counseling and case management services to clients with
substance use disorders with the least complex problems as defined by
standard treatment criteria. Screen clients, assess clients, develop
client treatment plans, make referrals, respond to clients in crises,
and provide addictions-related education and teach life skills. Documents client-related information in accordance with accepted client record management. The courses below satisfy requirements for this program Drug Counselor
