A Fitness Instructor typically helps people achieve and maintain a level of fitness they want to attain. They assess a client’s current fitness level discussing and setting the client’s fitness goals recommending a diet that will support the client’s fitness goals coaching the client through a type or combination of exercise routines periodically measuring the client’s fitness progress -
if necessary, reviewing the client’s diet or exercise routine.  A fitness instructor should be in superb physical condition and must be able to inspire and motivate clients to keep fit. Sound knowledge of different exercises and diet, being punctual and polite, possess a positive ’can do’ attitude and good knowledge of health issues is crucial. They are usually knowledgeable on subjects relevant to the job such as aerobics, body building, jazz dancing, kick boxing, nutrition, etc.
